Carrefour continues its development plan in Greece, with the opening of the new Carrefour Express store in Modiano Market, the Central Food Market of Thessaloniki.
The shop’s doors will open to the public on Thursday 19 October offering a wide range of high quality products at competitive prices. Visitors to the Modiano Market will be able to be served from the two points in which the store extends; now having a complete offer to cover all their daily consumer needs. ”
“The opening of the store in Modiano Market is of strategic importance for us as Modiano Market is an important part of the history of Thessaloniki”, notes Vassilis Stasinoulias, CEO of Carrefour in Greece.
It is recalled that a few days ago the new store was inaugurated in Thessaloniki, in the area of Evosmos. “Within 1 year, we have developed a total network of 30 stores, two different types of Carrefour express and Carrefour market. In addition, the connection of consumers with the Carrefour brand is fully reflected in the dynamics that our stores have already developed in the local markets. Our business plan continues inexorably, wanting to have completed the first phase of our development by the end of the year”, he adds.
The company’s goal is to create an expanded network of stores throughout Greece, which will include stores of different types, properly adapted to the conditions of each local market, offering consumers a wide range of products and services, properly adapted to the needs and particularities of each region.
