The Globalsat-Teleunicom group of companies, as a commercial representative of Blink Charging Hellas, entered into an agreement with Carrefour for the progressive placement of electric car charging stations in its stores nationwide.
The agreement with Carrefour, which follows the corresponding agreements with Praktiker, Intersport, Apollonio bakeries and Alter Life gyms, provides for the immediate installation of fast chargers in existing stores and the provision of charging stations in the network of stores under development.
The development of Blink charging points, which exceed 400 nationwide making its network the largest in Greece, aims to double the number of charging stations by the end of 2023 and is implemented in four directions: creating stations in store networks, such as Praktiker, of Intersport and Carrefour, creation of stations in hotels and places of catering and leisure such as St. George Lycabettus Hotel Athens and the Apollonio chain, installation of fast chargers in the national road networks and finally creation of stations in the facilities of large companies, so that their staff can be served, given the shift of companies to the provision of electric and hybrid cars to their executive staff.
Blink has the most modern fast chargers and through the Blink Mobile application, enables drivers to locate and integrate the selected charging points on the map of their route, to be updated in real time on the availability of the charging station as well as to pay the cost of charging, with the payment method being the same for all Blink charging stations, providing drivers with maximum convenience in their commute or journey.
